I did a comparison

In ubuntu it has the following

== OEM support ==

These packages are dynamically installed by the Ubuntu installer when we're
installing on compatible hardware. They will pull in additional hardware
support packages. They default to oem linux flavour, seed it too.

Note that desktop explicitly requests linux-generic-hwe-22.04 as the kernel to
install.

 * /^oem-.+-meta$/
 * linux-oem-22.04
 * linux-generic-hwe-22.04 [amd64]
 * linux-laptop-23.10 [arm64]

we don't.

What is needed by UB? just the * linux-generic-hwe-22.04 [amd64] ?

Can't imagine the arm64 nor the oem two lines is needed - are they?
