Ok It seems that You can't really do much about it.
removable-media read/write files on removable storage devices Storage no*
no means auto-connect is not possible for removable-media. So this snap can't give this functionality out of the box. Maybe something is possible I don't know really.
You should explain this in app description.
running: "snap connect mpv:removable-media :removable-media" will fix the problem.
