Bug Description

Can't upgrade, reinstall or remove the package as this error keeps coming up.

Using ubuntu 23.10

Preparing to unpack .../ubuntustudio-menu_0.81_all.deb ...
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: dpkg: warning: version '~0.81' has bad syntax: version number does not start with digit
dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/ubuntustudio-menu_0.81_all.deb (--unpack):
 new ubuntustudio-menu package pre-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1
dpkg-maintscript-helper: error: dpkg: warning: version '~0.81' has bad syntax: version number does not start with digit
dpkg: error while cleaning up:
 new ubuntustudio-menu package post-removal script subprocess returned error exit status 1

Fixed in version 0.82

Add the following to /etc/apt/sources.list:
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ mantic-proposed restricted main multiverse universe

Then:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install ubuntustudio-menu=0.82
