Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

I using Ubuntu 7.04 with all avaiable updates.

I'm using wine to use Internet Explorer 6, because of my work.

When a finish to use IE, I close this. But wine process and sometimes IE process still running on my pc. I perceive that machine comes too slowly. When I kill: explorer.exe, wineserver, wineboot, winedevice, IEXPLORE.EXE (sometimes) and wine-pthread (sometimes) everything back to normal.

Any help?

wineserver -k on a terminal should kill all Wine apps still running. Sometimes Windows apps intentionally spawn new processes for Wine to run, so closing their window won't always kill all of them.
