Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs

In hardy, whenever I try to mount an SFTP(SSH) share, it mounts, but only at the root location of the server, not within the directory tree as I have specified. I have tried putting the directory tree within the server entry box and the folder entry box, and both have the same incorrect result.

Running: Hardy 20080318
Package: gvfs 0.2.0.1-0ubuntu2

Thank you for your bug report. How do you do the mounting? Using the connect to server dialog? Does using directly the url works correctly? What is your issue, is the wrong location opened in nautilus?

Yes, I use the connect to server dialog, and yes, using the url directly works correctly. It even open the directory correctly after using it from that dialog. Where the directory is forgotten is on the icon created on the desktop and in the places menu. That shortcut does not include the directory nor can be changed to include it.

that's a duplicate issue, the new nautilus lists mounts the same way it lists disk, if you are interested in a particular directory you should bookmark it
