Bug Description
The crash appeared when booting ISO 20230908.2. The start-up screen was displayed and the start-up sound played.
I waited for the screen telling me that there was a problem to time out as the log-out button didn't work. When I reached the desktop I set up wi-fi but when trying to report the problem by submitting the crash file that I found in /var/crash with 'ubuntu-bug' the crash notification was seen again.
The crash on start-up is reproducible on this laptop.
