Bug Description

Binary package hint: usplash-theme-ubuntu

Since we're now using Clearlooks or Murrine as the systems gtk engine, it would make sense to adjust usplash to match this. Specifically the progress bars should use the same colors and style as the Clearlooks or Murrine ones. Of course it needs to be decided first which one of them is gonna be the default.
But right now it looks kinda wierd, to have ubuntulooks progress bar in usplash and a completely different one in the gtk engine!

Thanks for the suggestion, but marking as invalid since Murrine is no longer being considered as the default theme for Hardy. The progress bars will still match.

I think this bug is valid again. Since in intrepid afaik murrine is default (at least it is now). So I think it is important for usplash to match colors!

Ubuntu 8.04 LTS is EOL on the Desktop. Does this bug affect a supported Ubuntu version?
