Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I am using Gutsy on a Dell E1505. I did a dist-upgrade -d to Hardy today and Firefox scrolling has been really slow. It affects all websites wether with images or with text only. If I press the up arrow and release it, the page is still scrolling. If I did an up down up down scroll, the page lags behind.

I did a metacity --replace and this fixed firefox slow scrolling. This problem was not present in HH Alpha 5 as I remember. Is this a compiz issue?
