INVALID TIMEZONE reloading remote calendar

Binary package hint: thunderbird

While importing a remote calendar (*.ics) I receive an error stating:

INVALID TIMEZONE

The calendar is exported from Evolution an is attached to this bug report.

I can confirm this bug on Gutsy. Another testcase is the ICS version of the Hardy Release Schedule:
