step to produce
1- setting nemo default file manager
xdg-mime default nemo.desktop inode/directory application/
2- plug removable disk or create partition (call it media)
3- click on this media icon from dock (nemo will open correctly)
4- exit nemo

bugfree with nautilus:
1- setting nautilus default file manager
xdg-mime default org.gnome.
2- plug removable disk or create partition (call it media)

Probably additional thing to make volume appears in dock:
mount point must be in /media/<current user name>/<volume name>
not /mnt/...
