[Hardy] mythtv-osd doesn't recognize user-generated transcoder profiles

Bug Description

Binary package hint: mythtv

mythtv-0.21-fixes allows you to create mythtranscode transcoder profiles directly through the GUI. (old behavior was only default profiles [Low,Medium,High,Autodetect] existed).

Currently, mythtv-osd cannot use these new profiles within the GUI.

According to the upstream bug report, custom recording profiles don't work at all.

Upstream seems willing to include this, but the patch attached to the upstream ticket needs updating. I took a stab at it, but failed due to the number of changes that have happened since then. Anyone interested in helping it get resolved?

Unfortunately it looks like this is going nowhere unless someone picks up the upstream patch and updates it for current trunk.
