Bug Description
I installed the latest xen packages and some other packages.
When i try to boot the Xen Kernel it starts but gets stucked before getting to the login screen.
If i try Ctrl+Alt+F2 (or F3, F4, etc..) y see the login screen, but when i type my username and password, the same errors appear in each screen.
The messages are very similar to these i found in another launchpad bug (http://
I could not get a log to paste it here.
When I try reboot, a Kernel Panic message appears and gets stucked.
I'm attaching some logs i could get from the xen boot.
The packages i have installed for xen are the following:
debootstrap (1.0.8)
libc6-xen (2.7-9ubuntu2)
libconfig-
libtext-
libvirt0-dbg (0.4.0-2ubuntu6)
libxen3 (3.2.0-0ubuntu9)
linux-image-
linux-image-xen (2.6.24.12.13)
linux-restricte
linux-restricte
linux-ubuntu-
linux-xen (2.6.24.12.13)
python-dev (2.5.2-0ubuntu1)
python-xen-3.2 (3.2.0-0ubuntu9)
python2.5-dev (2.5.2-2ubuntu2)
xen-hypervisor-3.2 (3.2.0-0ubuntu9)
xen-tools (3.8-4ubuntu1)
xen-utils-3.2 (3.2.0-0ubuntu9)
Is it just me?
Or anyone else is having the same problem??
I get the same, booting the dom0 with kernel 2.6.24-12-xen. The gettys start fine, but on keyboard input things explode. This could well be a bug in the kernel, rather than the hypervisor.
