Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04
firefox-3 beta3 and beta4

The accesskey behavior seems to be broken in Firefox3 used in Hardy Heron. To reproduce, please visit the following web site:

   http://www.gerv.net/software/aul/accesskey.html

- click on "Underline access keys"
- try the accesskey (alt-shift-i, alt-shift-s, alt-shift-t, alt-shift-e, alt-shift-b and alt-shift-q)

When using Firefox 2, the accesskey on this page work as expected. When using Firefox3, they don't work or are "hidden" by Firefox Menu Accesskeys.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This works for me with Firefox 3.0.1 in Intrepid. Can you confirm if this still is an issue for you?

I wouldn't classify this a bug. How would Firefox know which action to
trigger when two access-keys are in the document?
