ATI: after update, desktop settings (compiz) asks to install "fglrx" to be re-enabled

Bug Description

Hardy - ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 - Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M1425 Laptop.
Usually using opensource drivers with compiz enabled.
After last update (yesterday 14 March ) (sorry i don 't remember which package was upgraded, if compiz related or xorg related), rebooting caused desktop effects to be disabled.
Trying to restore previous settings (selecting "Normal Effects") the program AUTOMATICALLY downloaded and install fglrx module and asked me to reboot. Then all was ok and compiz worked but using restricted drivers.

-->In my opinion this is not of course a security problem or a problem getting the workstation unusable, BUT the good feature not invoking the manual action of the user installs restricted drivers without asking permission.

This could be bad for someone i think.
