Notes package crashed/no apps on task bar open

None of the desktop apps open including all/apps.
Desktop icon for install Ubuntu & Home folder on desktop works.
Ctl+Alt+T for Terminal works.
Firefox started because of bug report.

I even logged out of Live session and logged in,
same results no apps on task bar work.

Testing in Virtual Box. Live Testing Session.
