Bug Description

After Software Updater performed updates and reboot sound no longer works.
I don't know what updates were performed because I didn't check.
In sound settings only Dummy Output is available.
When searching the internet for solutions I couldn't find any posts with the exact same problem as me.
For me the lspci-command doesn't list any Kernel drivers or Kernel modules, which I think might be the problem.
However, I have not managed to install any drivers.

I have, among several other things, tried the instructions here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SoundTroubleshooting

$ sudo aplay -l
aplay: device_list:274: no soundcards found...

$ sudo apt-get install linux-restricted-modules-`uname -r` linux-generic
