Bug Description

Binary package hint: gedit-plugins

gedit eats all available memory real fast with no time to kill the app if i run a program that prints a lot to console (eg debugging data) with External Tools plugin.
I'm using 7.10 gedit 2.10.3

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. It would seem this is corrected in gedit 2.22.0 shipped with Hardy
