brigtness changing itself

i'm using hardy for testing on a dell laptop

i use to set the brigtness at, let says, a medium value

for a couple of days, and relative to updates, the brigtness changes itself always going to the maximum value

sorry for this presentation, but until this morning i have no way to fully use my keyboard caracteres set, shift key action don't work !
