Bug Description
when testing hackbench by using perf tool based on hardware performance events(cpu cycles) on Allwinner Nezha Board installed Ubuntu Server preinstalled image 23.04 , i found that there was no samples. The results are below.
ubuntu@ubuntu:~$ sudo perf record -e cpu-cycles -F 1499 -g ./hackbench
sudo perf report --no-children -G > riscv hackbench.
perf record: Woken up 1 times to write data perf record: Captured and wrote 0.043 MB perf.data Error:
The perf.data data has no samples!
The reason why there was no samples is that there is still OpenSBI 1.1 on Ubuntu Server preinstalled image 23.04. you can refer to the link : https:/
can you help to fix this bug in the newest ubuntu images by updating OpenSBI version for RISC-V architecture.
yours sincerely!
