Bug Description
Hi,
trying without installing Ubuntu 23.04 aka Lunar Lobster.
From USB-thumb installation drive made with Ventoy.
1⋅ localisation
it's the first question asked by installer : language choice. Here I choose French.
And hit continue.
The installer itself sets in french ; but nothing « inside » the live-session that remains in english, with english ( qwerty ) keyboard mapping.
I expected the whole ( or most of ) the session to turn into french language.
As it used to do.
2⋅ Other places
No discs are shown in the « Other places » section of Nautilus.
They appear only after I manually mount them using
udisksctl mount -b /dev/sd@#
I expected to find there the ( many ) discs inside my computer without needing manual action.
3⋅ duplicates in usual folders after manually setting franch language.
There is a « Desktop » folder and a ( localized ) « Bureau » folder. Both exist, one is empty, the other contains installer launcher.

Hello Coeur Noir,
Since we are talking about the graphical environment, translations and behavior of nautilus, I will add ubuntu- desktop- installer and remove subiquity.
For now, there is nothing that can be done from Subiquity's standpoing.
Best regards,
Olivier
