Bug Description

Ubuntu can't see my wifi adapter since 5.19.0-40 kernel update (works wih 5.19.0-38)

The bug is described in this answer:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/706179

The cause is that a check has been introduced on max_flowrings > 256 (https://patchwork.kernel<email address hidden>/) being accounted for a faulty device behaviour when it's the default value for the asus AC88 wifi adapter.

Can the check be removed or the value increased so that I can use my wifi adapter ?

and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'.

If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change the bug status to 'Confirmed'.

switching to "confirmed", since I can't run apport-collect without internet connection, obviously.
