Bug Description

STEPS:
 - Open the text editor (gted).
 - Type some text over multiples lines.
 - Select some lines at the middle and drag them toward the end.
 - Click somewhere over the text you moved to move your cursor
 - Your cursor was expected to have moved, but it did not.
 - Type a character, your cursor did not move, this is not just a visual bug.
 - Clicking again would move the cursor.
