Dead zone below the tray icon area

Bug Description
Since upgrading to Ubuntu 23.04, I have an issue where the zone below tray icons is partly blocked by some transparent dead zone.
With AnyDesk open and its tray icon in the bar, clicking below the tray icon (on a window title for example) triggers the click event on the AnyDesk tray icon, and opens the AnyDesk software. With AnyDesk closed (and the tray icon missing), the dead zone is still present, however clicking on it does nothing.
You'll find attached a screenshot showcasing the dead zone (marked in orange, it is invisible), I can't click within this dead zone. When I have a maximized window for example, I can't click on the window buttons.
I tried resetting all gnome-related dconf settings after upgrading, to no avail. It worked perfectly fine with Ubuntu 22.10.
