Description: I just upgraded to Lunar Lobster. Out of the box, the proprietary nvidia driver wasn't loaded, so I purged nvidia-driver-525, performed an autoremove and then reinstalled nvidia-driver-525. The installation seemed successful as apt said a module was built for the new kernel 6.2, and the initramfs was updated without issue. I have verified that I am running kernel 6.2.0-18-generic. And yet, only the intel graphics driver is available and nvidia-settings says that the nvidia driver is not loaded. Performing modprobe nvidia only yields "ERROR: could not insert 'nvidia': Key was rejected by service." Performing nvidia-modprobe yields nothing. Performing prime-select nvidia also doesn't fix anything.
Fixed by purging everything nvidia, libnvidia, or cuda, and reinstalling through the "additional drivers" interface. I also reinstalled linux-headers- $(uname -r).
