Bug Description

As part of GNOME it has a general exception. Furthermore it's a bug fix release.

The ubuntu changes (move the .so symlink to the anjuta package) are incorporated in Debian, and the build-depends changes aren't needed anymore. The package builds, installs and works fine on Hardy.

Changelog from the Debian package:

anjuta (2:2.4.0-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Install the glade3 module
  * Move the libanjuta.so symlink to the anjuta package so that the libglade
    module loader can find it.
  * Make the -dbg package priority extra.

 -- Rob Bradford <email address hidden> Mon, 18 Feb 2008 17:07:28 +0000

anjuta (2:2.3.4-2) experimental; urgency=low

  * Make build-dep on graphviz work on both potential names for the -dev
    package to ease backporting.
  * Build depend on libneon27 if libneon26 can't be found.

 -- Rob Bradford <email address hidden> Thu, 14 Feb 2008 15:58:04 +0000

anjuta (2:2.3.4-1) experimental; urgency=low

 -- Rob Bradford <email address hidden> Mon, 11 Feb 2008 11:35:27 +0000

anjuta (2:2.3.2-0) experimental; urgency=low

  * New upstream version.
  - Add patch to fix anjuta-tags installation into the wrong directory
  - Change build dep for graphviz.

Do not upload it. After some discussion with pochu we might go for a sync with debian + one simple dependency modification instead...

From what I see, no, it's not part of GNOME, it's an application that's built on top of GNOME but maintained separately upstream. Asking motu-release to have a look at this.

can you attach the diff of the upstream changelog and diffstat between packges and then set the bug back to new? thanks.
