Bug Description

I'm testing Kubuntu 8.04 on i386

In kernel 2.6.24.11, sound works fine. After upgrading to kernel 2.6.24.12, there are no sound modules loaded, simple because there are no sound modules shipped in this kernel version.

Could you upgrade your kernel? This is a known bug in that kernel which has been fixed.

How should I do a kerrnel upgrade?

The kernel version 2.6.24.12-generic works fine, the 386 version doesn't work.
