[gnome-shell 44~rc-1ubuntu2, Ubuntu 23.04 (development branch)] Wrong background color in application folders

Problem summary:

After upgrading from Ubuntu 22.10 to Ubuntu 23.04 (development branch) the gnome-shell application folders background is shown in white color instead of dark grey color making impossible to read it's contents. I'm using the default Ubuntu theming.

I've attached two screenshots:

- Ubuntu_22_10_OK.png: where you can see that application folder background is dark grey as expected.

- Ubuntu_23_04_BAD.png: where you can see that application folder background is white and content is unreadable.
