Rider for tools has disappeared

Im my GIMP the rider to modificate the tools (i.g. size) has disappeared and I can't add it anymore

apport-collect 2011729

That would be the tool options dialog.

Thanks for the advice.
My GIMP doesn't give the possibility to add a tab as you have advised. It is possible in the right but not left.
I wanted to show a screenshot but is is not possible to place it here.
