Bug Description
Server install missed "renderer: NetworkManager" line in netplan/
this results in the network adapter is missing in the Network applet in Gnome settings
Some gnome applications, including update script as reported by cockpit, believe the system is offline
The fix is to add the missing line to the 00-installer-
after this step, the network adapter appears in Gnome and all symptoms of the system being offline disappeared.
