Wrong shell icons in 44.beta

At each boot the icons in the dock are wrong (left column of the attached image) then i open gmome-tweaks - icons active are Yaru - I select another icon set, the go back to Yaru end the icons change to the correct type (right column of attached image)

With a Mate desk, the icons fails to load and raise up cpu activity; had to set them off into Mate params.
Seems to be the exact same package fault as reported here.

Status changed to 'Confirmed' because the bug affects multiple users.

I'm not sure which packages exactly but have heard the fix is coming in gnome-shell 44~rc (not in beta).

The icons are mostly fixed, but some issues remain in bug 2011777 and bug 2011778
