Bug Description

Binary package hint: dolphin

This is not a bug but something for the wishlist, I hope you don't mind.

It would be very useful to make dolphin open a location in a second panel (split view) when you wheel-click it. Kinda like opening a tab.

Right now you have to switch to split view first, then navigate to the desired location. That's wasting a couple of seconds every time you do it. Wheel-click doesn't have an action assigned as far as I could determine, right?

I suppose this should be assigned to dolphin-kde4 as well, but i didn't know how to do that.

Changed in kdebase-kde4:
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed

Dolphin lives in kdebase in Intrepid, so reassigning to kdebase.

Wheelclick is used for opening folders in new tabs now (since KDE 4.1); probably won't be implemented.
