Bug Description

When running hp-setup with a HP MFP475 it crashes trying to find/add the printer with "Unable to communicate with the device. Please check the device and try again". This seems to be caused by the printer identifying itself as a 'hpfax://' and missing plugin. The plugin is optional, which is good, however this shouldn't cause a core-dump.

Instead, the user should be given the option to install the plugin, or simply disable the fax function on the printer.

Disabling the fax function causes the printer to report itself as a 'hp://' instead. Given this day and age, where land-lines are out of fashion and faxing hardly happens anymore, disabling fax is the saner solution :)

Future googlers note, for some reason, changing this setting is not possible via the webinterface. On the printer, it is possible, but the interface then asks you to create an admin password. After the printer has rebooted, with the fax functionality disabled, the password can be removed again and everything is fine.
