Bug Description
I have an ASUS Vivobook-M6400RC with a Realtek ALC294 chipset for the sound.
Internal speakers are working fine, but there is no internal microphone recognised. The menu is just greyed out in sound settings.
There is nothing available in pavucontrol either. Under configuration in pavucontrol, the "analogue stereo duplex" option is marked (unavailable).
External microphones, i.e. with a headset in the minijack, work fine.
I expected the internal microphone to just work out of the box, but it isn't recognised.
Running Ubuntu 22.10 with kernel 6.2.2 from mainline.

Also a problem with kernel 5.19.0.29.30 (stock kernel for Ubuntu 22.10 at time of writing)
