99% sure it's this bug on Mesa's gitlab. Installing the kisak-mesa PPA fixed the issue for me. Any chance of a backport for the fix?

The fix commit should be in https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/381de3c809fce5427308c696bbd313360194eff4
which is applied in mesa 22.3.1+ and 23.0.0+.

Which Ubuntu version are you using?

I don't know if it's a regression. I'm not that technical and didn't even know what Mesa was until I ran into this bug. All I know is it's present in the Mesa shipped with Jammy but fixed in 22.3.1

Lunar is now at 22.3.6-1ubuntu1, including this fix.

Ubuntu 22.10 (Kinetic Kudu) has reached end of life, so this bug will not be fixed for that specific release.
