I just upgrade to kubuntu hardy heron alpha 6 and i have notice that many gnome programmes looks very ugly in hardy. The programmes are synaptic,firestarter,nvidia-setting when i open it with kdesudo. The strange is that some gtk programmes work great but other are not. I have already check the option in system setting for the gtk programmes to use kde style but nothing happens. Here is and some pictures

These are programs that require root access. They use /root/.themes instead of ~/.themes for the appearance. To fix this you can copy your themes from ~/.themes to /root/.themes or create a symbolic link.

i have see that the problem have to do with all the programmes when you open them with kdesudo. I was thinking that was a gtk programmes problem but is not. I look in my home for a hide /.themes folder but i dont have any folder with that name. Can anyone change and the bug report title?

I can confirm this with Kubuntu Hardy. All gtk apps that require root permissions do not use the KDE style. I am currently using qtcurve. I have installed gtk2-engines-qtcurve, kde-style-qtcurve, and qtcurve. The options in kcontrol to make gtk apps use the KDE stlye are set.
