osx: top window is not active window

Starting the program brings the main window on the screen.
If you then open a second window, e.g. with the "+" button, it comes on top of the main window, but it is not the active window. As an example: you cannot close it by clicking the red bullet at the left of the title bar (it feels like you click through that window). It looks like the second window only becomes active after clicking in an input field.

Same here. Sometimes it works randomly on the second or third attempt: open a menu, then click somewhere in the middle of the child window, then click for X to close.

I use escape as a workaround or the buttons in the child window for closing.

Meanwhile, I am now also using version 4.8.1 and it looks better. Only the title bar (with the red, orange and green button) is still not reactive.

PS: above system info can be displayed from the main menu Help > Information, but it cannot be copied to the clipboard. A nice to have feature for the next release?

Yes, I was inaccurate. I've only experienced the issue with the title bar.
