The attachment "352-ga-1-to-362-ga-0ubuntu1.patch" seems to be a debdiff. The ubuntu-sponsors team has been subscribed to the bug report so that they can review and hopefully sponsor the debdiff. If the attachment isn't a patch, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are member of the ~ubuntu-sponsors, unsubscribe the team.

I’ll do this in Debian so you can just sync from sid, but I may need a few days as I have other important things to work on (plus actually get some sleep in between) right now.

Yes, absolutely, I am putting forward interim package that just updates upstream tags just to keep security guys happy.

There is an autopkgtest issue which prevents fontconfig from migrating.

@Vladimir: Can you please take a look.

@Gunnar Hjalmarsson: it seems there is an issue with shim-signed package.
```
Preparing to unpack .../shim-signed_1.54+15.7-0ubuntu1_arm64.deb ...
Unpacking shim-signed (1.54+15.7-0ubuntu1) over (1.52+15.7-0ubuntu1) ...
Setting up shim-signed (1.54+15.7-0ubuntu1) ...
Installing new version of config file /etc/kernel/postinst.d/zz-shim ...
update-alternatives: error: alternative link /usr/lib/shim/shimaa64.efi.signed is already managed by shimx64.efi.signed
dpkg: error processing package shim-signed (--configure):
 installed shim-signed package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 2
Errors were encountered while processing:
 shim-signed
Hmm.. Right. And there is a brand new upload on its way:
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shim-signed/1.54
I suppose we'd better await the result of that.
Yes, we will have to wait till tomorrow when 1.54 is in the autopkgtest image ;(
Looks like it's actually the new shim-signed version that causes the issue.
shim-signed no longer blocks autopkgtest for openjdk-8 on arm64, but there is some other weird issue:
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/running#pkg-openjdk-8
No run has completed successfully the past 10 days or so. It seems to affect amd64 too.
Unclear to me if the package or the autopkgtest infrastructure is to blame.
@Steve: Any chance you can look at it?
https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/packages/openjdk-8/lunar/arm64 - last 3 failures can be attributed to shim-signed.
It was passing before that.
Yes, but now there are 8 test runs which seem to never be completed. Only the last failed one is recognized for fontconfig on the excuses page. Some kind of intervention seems to be needed, but I'm not able to tell what the problem is.
