changing cursor doesnt work only in some apps does the cursor change to what its set but most its the deafult

Bug Description
so i was in settings and changed my cursor from the default white one to the black one, but it only has the white one in some apps but in firefox for example its the default white one
EDIT: the problem was fixed with a restart
