Bug Description

Lubuntu jammy.2 daily install on
- lenovo g560 (i5m-480, 4gb, i915)

install alongside; selected large windows partition to shrink...

install appeared to be going normally, without message the laptop screen returned to wallpaper (calamares crashed)

Looks like it's failing during the extract process. Could you please see if this is an issue on Noble? If it is, we may need to tell rsync to be nicer on slower machines.
