Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

The informational text over the keyboard layout test area in step 4 of the installation, should mention that the keyboard shortcut to change the layout is alt+shift.
It should also indicate the selected layout during this testing. (Perhaps the language settings applet should be enabled by default).

The selected layout is the one you have selected in those two list boxes - but otherwise, yes, mentioning this would be a good idea, although perhaps only for non-Latin keymaps (since otherwise Alt+Shift does nothing).

It would also be nice to have a current layout widget somewhere near the test text area, like gnome-screensaver has (again, for non-latin layouts).
