Bug Description
When I open a text file in Files with an application that has not been added to favorites, the app highlighting (white rounded rectangle around the icon) is glitched.
For example, I have attached a screenshot showing the app highlighting when I open a text file from files without having 'gedit' added to favorites. The gedit icon in the dock is glitched. Other app icons will also glitch in this way.
