I think I had once this problem, and it turned out it was because my disk was full...

In /home i have free 3 Gb.

Firefox not save the opens tabs and anything.

do you still see this? please try to disable your extensions one by one to see if this is due to a bogus extension. Let us know.

I have this problem as well. Page addresses do not display in the address bar, past Google queries do not show up in the search box, sessions are not maintained, and cookies are not saved. The only adjustment I have made to the about:config are to increase the scrolling size from 3 to 6.

I had the same problem.
I have a Thinkpad T60p and I have some problem with video driver so I was forced to switch off the laptop without a shutdown.
After that I started experiencing troubles with firefox.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall it many times without solving the problem.

I forgot to say that I have also 'reload' and 'stop' button disabled. Only the 'home' button is enabled but doesn't work.

this bug is closed. if you didnt report this bug initially, consider
to submit a new one with 1) a step-by step instruction on how to
reproduce, 2) what you experience and 3) what you actually expect to
experience instead.
