Font rendering messed up

Bug Description

1.5.12-0ubuntu1 messes the fonts up, they appear to be hinted incorrectly.

I enter "sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig-config" and select None and None, after enter "sudo dpkg-reconfigure fontconfig" and reboot xorg but nothing changed, fonts had remained unsharpen and thick, help!

Sorry, this is a duplicate. There are 2 reasons why I filed a duplicate:

1. I didn't think this would be an issue in language-selector.
2. I wanted to file Bug #200000!

I enable and disable rgb aliasing and type "sudo apt-get install ttf-liberation" and a problem solved - not clearly that it was
