Bug Description
I am using Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS
Nautilus 1:42.2-0ubuntu1
What I did: I click on a file, in this case an html file on my desktop and hold the left mouse button down. I drag the file on top of one of the docked apps Firefox for example. What I expected to happen: In any other non-Linux operating system I would expect that file to be opened by the application the file was dropped onto. What happened: In Ubuntu with Nautilus the file doesn't open with the docked application I dropped the file onto. What happened instead: Nothing

drag and drop from desktop to docked app This is a basic function that is available in every other non-Linux operating system I have used. I believe it is reasonable to expect Linux to also have this feature. I think any user would like to have this be an option. This bug should be fixed to make Linux attractive to more users.
