Bug Description
LiveCD and subsequent install of hardy heron alpha 6 will not boot with acpi enabled, error immediately after GRUB:
[ 22.361715] ACPI: EC: acpi_ec_wait timeout, status = 0, expected_event = 1
[ 22.361763] ACPI: EC: read timeout, command = 128
the laptop runs fine with "acpi = off"
