Have the Ability to Delete Item Alerts from database

Copy Alerts are kept in the database for historical purposes. This causes all the cleared copy alerts to display on the New Items Alert screen. Some ILS would like the ability to delete the cleared copy alerts instead of keeping them for historical purposes.

Yes, please. My library doesn't need information from alerts that no longer apply and it is a nuisance to scroll through Cleared alerts when editing active alerts or adding new alerts.
