Bug Description

Hi,

Liferea refuses to start on my laptop when I use Wayland, but is OK on Xorg.

The window does flash up, but then closes immediately.

Here is some relevant output, please let me know what further details I can provide to help.

Extra:

Just ran the same command under Xorg - the "assertion G_IS_OBJECT failed" error message still occurs but the window opens and the program runs normally. It seems that this part of the message might be misleading.

After updating to Ubuntu 22.10 (incl Gnome 43 and liferea 1.13.8) the problem no longer occurs.
