Using screenshot to capture a window the screenshot contains also a large border.
This not happen selecting an area.

Also click on 'Show Pointer' has no visible effect so is impossible to know if the pointer will be visible in the screenshot/screencast or not.

Upstream has decided this isn't a bug because that's how big the shadow really is:
