Inconsistent Release file in gutsy-updates

When I try to mirror gutsy-updates I realized that:

http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy-updates/Release

have the following entry

517a7c0d4eeccebd3d51bbd887487566 1943023 main/binary-i386/Packages

but there is no

http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/gutsy-updates/main/binary-i386/Packages

so mirroring fails

confirming this still the case. I'm not an Archive Administrator but it's missing for other mirrors too, how do you mirror the archive ?

Easy, just gunzip the Packages.gz and is the same stuff. The thing is that somebody forgot to place Packages in that dir and sometimes debmirror complains about it.

I can't reproduce this despite Package file is missing from the archive. I've used the following command:
debmirror --verbose --progress --nosource --ignore-release-gpg --host=archive.ubuntu.com --method=http --root=ubuntu --dist=gutsy-updates --section=main --arch=i386 /tmp/debmirror-test

When this happens, please can you post the exact command you've been running and attach the output of the mirroring process in verbose mode. Thanks in advance.

I'm closing this report because it is not reproducible and due to the lack of information on how to reproduce it.
