Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1. Set laptop to sleep when lid closed in XFCE Power Manager.
2. Close lid. System sleeps.
3. Open lid. Desktop contents remain visible for 3-4 seconds before system goes to lock screen (huge security problem IMO but also just annoying)
This problem only shows itself when suspending the laptop upon lid close. Selecting suspend from the menu or issuing "systemctl suspend" works properly.

I performed these steps to build the xfce4-settings package from source and it completely fixed the problem. According to the solution poster, the feature removed at compile time is not even implemented in XFCE any more, so it seems like this should be easy to fix.
Thank you for your time. Would be good to put a long-standing bug to rest.
